We have a winner for our 2018 Winter Best Self Forward Jumpstart!
The focus of this jumpstart was to establish some healthy habits by tracking food, water intake, and nightly sleep – 3 factors that prove the most effective and solely within our ability to control.
Furthermore, we wanted it to be sustainable progress that you can continue to build upon.
Depending on your individual body composition goals, we gave you each specific goals for daily macronutrients or portions to help meet those goals, and used your consistency of tracking as well as benchmarks such as weekly weighing, and pre/post measurements and pictures to help YOU see the benefits.
The majority of participants shared positive progress towards their body composition goals…either reductions in body fat, reduction in measurements and clothes fitting better.
Take aways and feedback we heard across the 6 weeks:
– Tracking my food makes me a lot more accountable
– I am not eating nearly enough protein
– I am sleeping better
– when I plan my meals out I feel better
– I learned that I can still go out and hang with friends then get back on track the next day
