23 Aug Help Needed Lady Balboans!
Happy Humpday Balboans! WE need your Help!!
Its the last week of August, can you believe it!? What better way to celebrate than to come support your fellow Balboans or maybe even participate yourself.
This weekend CrossFit Red Wolf in Huntington Beach is hosting an end of the Summer, Femme Royale Competition. This comp is a women’s only competition which encourages all the participants to push themselves all in the greater good of female camaraderie. Teams of two will take the stage participating in three different events throughout the day.
Historically CFB has always had at the very least a couple teams participating and this time around there is no difference. We have two scheduled teams ready and willing to represent the Balboa Crest and Hydra. Both teams, “Bodies by Balboa” and “Bennycake’s Big Cats” will be competing in the 50/50 division with a chance at the podium up for grabs.
This is where you are coming in. One of our team members had to pull out last minute due to a family emergency and Erin Carraway is in need of a partner in crime. This gives one of our ladies an opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and help a friend in need and maybe even find out a little about themselves. All the movements are within reason. If you are available and willing to participate, understand a couple things:
- It will be FUN
- It is All Day
- You might smile and laugh a lot….and sweat
- It would be Awesome
- It is a chance to challenge yourself
